Founded by Director Donna Long, Women Reaching Women was an idea planted in her heart by the Lord Himself. Donna was moved by the effects deployment had on the families of our military men and women serving all over the globe. She felt a need to reach out to the families touched by the absence of their loved ones serving our great nation. Women Reaching Women, a Brevard community outreach, schedules meetings which take place the first Monday of nearly every month. These meetings are open to all with no membership required. We encourage women to attend whether they are married or single, young or young at heart, military or non-military. We need each other. Today's world can be tough and many circumstances may seem overwhelming. We know that, and that's why we’re here. Women Reaching Women offers encouragement, friendship, and a variety of ways to get involved in an organization that is INCLUSIVE, not exclusive; one that is concerned about its community and the well being of each individual. Our ultimate goal is to serve one another and assist one another by becoming stronger spiritually and emotionally. We especially embrace women and children who have had loved ones deployed at war and have come home suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) or Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). Whether you're a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt or grandmother … you are most welcome here.
We are joined together in a battle on all fronts. We are battling spiritually. We are battling in life's circumstances. We are battling militarily. To be truly victorious, we must assemble ourselves together - To fight for one another - To serve our wounded
